Step into the shoes of an EY FAAS team member

Welcome to the EY Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) Job Simulation. We are delighted you are here.

At EY, our purpose is building a better working world. The insights and services we provide help to create long-term value for clients, people, and society, and to build trust in the capital markets.

EY Assurance services – comprising Audit, Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS), Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), and Forensic & Integrity Services – address risk and complexity, while identifying opportunities to enhance trust in the capital markets. Together, thanks to the global experience of EY multidisciplinary talent and innovative technology, EY Assurance services help protect and promote sustainable, long-term value for stakeholders.

FAAS is a team of global professionals supporting CFOs and finance teams with implementing their finance agenda and helping organizations to review processes and operations aimed at evolving and improving, not just their finance teams, but the wider business. As part of this work, EY FAAS teams often work closely with colleagues from our Consulting and Strategy and Transactions service lines to bring the full breadth of EY knowledge and expertise to our clients. You can read more about some of the work we do across the broader finance organization in The EY CFO Agenda.

EY FAAS teams provide analysis and insights to clients, helping them to make better business decisions and guiding them in implementing new accounting changes, improving their finance function and navigating complex transactions. As the finance landscape evolves, we continue to invest in EY FAAS teams, providing opportunities to gain new skills and support clients with exciting technologies, such as data mining, artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, robotics process automation (RPA) and blockchain.

During this simulation, you will get the opportunity to step into the shoes of an EY FAAS team member and complete tasks that replicate the work they do every day.

We hope this simulation provides a great resource for you to upskill and strengthen your resume as you explore your career options and a potential career at EY.

Upon completing this simulation, consider exploring other careers with the EY organization through our diverse simulation programs. We recommend trying out the EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCASS) and EY Audit job simulation programs to further broaden your career possibilities.

This program is self-paced. It takes approximately 6-7 hours to complete.
