International Student Resources

At Olin we love our international students and are so grateful for the rich culture and insights you bring to the Olin Community. Being an international student also means that you might have more than one career destination in mind when it comes to your future career planning. Whether you hope to begin a career in the U.S, return to your home country, or venture somewhere new, we are eager to partner with you.

The International Advantage

Learn how to speak about your unique international advantage. As an international student getting your Master’s in a second language, you are accomplishing something most Americans could never do! It demonstrates that you are extremely smart, brave, and dedicated to your career to navigate an entirely new culture to pursue your goals. It also shows that you are adaptable and can adjust to change and challenges – adaptability and the ability to learn new things quickly is a highly valued skill and quality by employers. You also bring a global mindset and perspective that is unique to your colleagues – in a world that is becoming increasingly global, especially in business, this is a unique advantage of an international talent!

MBA and SMP Career Coaches – As your career coaches, we are here to help you develop and refine your career planning process. We are your first resource when you are on your journey to career success, and will support you in the following ways:
