SAVE THE DATE
August 27, 2026
The annual On-Campus Student Employment Fair is hosted by the Center for Career Engagement in partnership with Student Financial Services Federal Work-Study team and the Office for International Students and Scholars. It is held in August (typically during the first week of classes). Specific information for the 2026 fair including location and how to register will be released here and in Handshake near the end of the spring 2026 semester.
Information for Students

The On-Campus Student Employment Fair is a great place to learn about the variety of job opportunities on campus. Some attending departments will have jobs currently open and posted in Handshake. Others will be sharing opportunities that will become available later in the year.
All students are welcome.
Many campus departments hire undergrad and graduate and PhD students.
Departments hiring students with and without Federal Work-Study, as well as international students with work authorization attend.
Representatives from the Federal Work Study office and Office of International Student Success attend to answer questions. Career Coaches are also present available to help students with application and interview tips and general career advice.
The fair is drop in. Registration via Handshake is encouraged but not required.
Information for Campus Departments

All schools and campus departments are welcome, regardless of when your recruitment cycle begins.
Departments are not required to have a current job posted in Handshake to participate.
Over 700 students at all levels from all schools participate. The Fair is a great way to increase the visibility of your student employment opportunities with a wide variety of students.
There is no fee to participate.
Participating departments are given a table and are encouraged to bring informational materials, email sign up sheets and more. Having more than one representative from your department to talk with interested students is recommended. If you have a current student worker, this is a great opportunity for them to share about their work experiences with their peers.
